Berlin z nieco innej perspektywy. Pierwsze zdjęcie wykonane z okna hotelu Scandic przy Potsdamer Platz reszta z tarasu widokowego na pobliskim Kollhoff Tower z najszybszą windą w Europie. Dodam tylko, że było zimno, bardzo zimno.

Berlin from a bit different perspective. First photo was taken from window of Scandic Hotel at Potsdamer Platz, the rest from the viewing platform of nearby Kollhoff Tower with the fastes elevator in Europe. I have to add it was cold, very cold.

Zgodnie z zapowiedzią prezentuję kolejną porcję zdjęć Berlina. Fotografie zostały zrobione podczas Jarmarku Bożonarodzeniowego, który jest tradycją w Niemczech. Z uwagi na dość spory ruch, niektóre ujęcia zrobione zostały przy wysokiej wartości ISO, bez statywu.

As announced I present another set of pictures of Berlin. The photographs were taken during Christmas Market, a German tradition. Because of the crowd, some shots were taken at high ISO, without tripod.

Świątecznie / Christmas feeling

Zamek Książąt Pomorskich w wydaniu świątecznym. Wiele zaczyna się dziać w kwestii poprawy estetyki miasta w Szczecinie. Taki drobny akcent jak oświetlenie zamku dodaje świątecznego klimatu i stanowi ciekawy temat do fotografii.

Dukes' of Pomerani Castle in Christmas edition. A lot has been made to improve the estetic impressions in Szczecin. A small accent such as lighting the castle adds the festive feeling and it is interesting subject for photography.

Ptaki / Birds

Kolejne zdjęcia z tego samego dnia. Tym razem użyłem zoomu z małą głębią ostrości by podkreślić temat na pierwszym planie. Po raz kolejny pogoda okazała się kluczem do dobrej ekspozycji. Czy się udało oceńcie sami.

Consequent shots taken on the same day. This time I used zoom lense with small depth of field to emphasize the first plan. Also this time the weather was a key factor for good exposure. Judge for yourselves if it worked.

Na plaży / On the beach

Zimowa aura sprzyja fotografom. Szczególnie jeśli pogoda dopisuje. Powietrze jest wówczas bardziej przejrzyste niż latem. Jeśli jest mroźno, szanse na pojawienie się mgiełki ograniczającej widoczność są niewielkie. Tak też było w to listopadowe popołudnie na plaży w Dźwirzynie. Aż szkoda było nie skorzystać.

Winter favors photgraphers. Specially if the weather is good. The air is much clearer then than in the summer time. If it's freezing, the chances for mist that reduces the visibility are slim. That was the case on this November afternoon on the beach in Dźwirzyno. Would be a pity not to use it.

Latarnia / Lighthouse

Dobre rzeczy zazwyczaj dzieją się przypadkiem. Nie inaczej jest w przypadku tego zdjęcia, które podoba mi się bardzo. Zostało zrobione w mroźny wieczór na parkingu w Dźwirzynie. Poszedłem do samochodu po torby na weekend w hotelu i skorzystałem ze statwyu, który zawsze jeździ ze mną w samochodzie. Bez planu, jedno ujęcie.

Good things usually happen by accident. It was no different in case of this picture, which I like a lot. It was taken on freezing evening in the parking in Dźwirzyno. I went to the car to get bags for weekend in hotel and I used the tripod that I always carry in my trunk. No plans, one shot.
